The Nest Doorbell is equipped with built-in intelligence that can distinguish between a person, package, animal, and vehicles. It will send you alerts through the Google Home app without the need for a subscription.

You can easily check in from anywhere at any time with live HD video featuring HDR and night vision. Additionally, you can view up to 3 hours of free event video history. If you opt for a Nest Aware subscription (sold separately), you can access up to 60 days of event video history.

In the event of a Wi-Fi outage or power failure, the Nest Doorbell will store up to 1 hour of recorded events so you can catch up on what you missed.

Installation is a breeze with the option for wired or wire-free setup. The built-in battery allows for compatibility with any type of door. You can also connect it to your existing doorbell wires using the included wire connector.

Whether you choose battery or wired installation, please note that the battery-powered Nest Doorbell cannot continuously record 24/7 video history, even with a Nest Aware subscription.

You can communicate with visitors at your door from anywhere using the Google Home app. You can speak to them, instruct delivery people, or send pre-recorded messages.

View live video hands-free and communicate with visitors using compatible Google Nest and Amazon smart displays. You can also use compatible Google Nest and Amazon smart speakers and displays as a chime.

To use the Nest Doorbell, you will need the Google Home app and a free Google account. It is not compatible with the Nest app or site.

The Nest Doorbell camera offers a tall vertical field of view, making it easier to see people and packages. You can monitor high-traffic areas with Activity Zones as well.
